Rodenbach Alexander

Rodenbach Alexander was first brewed in 1986, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Alexander Rodenbach, co-founder of Brouwerij Rodenbach. Now, 30 years later, Rodenbach Alexander is back as worthy successor. Rodenbach, brewer of the original 'Sour Ale', presents the comeback of the beer Rodenbach Alexander. This beer, which was brewed for the last time in 2000, is one of the most popular beers in the world. Rodenbach Alexander is a 'foederbier' (a mixture of beers, which ripens for two years on oak foeders), macerated with sour cherries. This special beer with its unique, balanced palette, fruit keys and complex aftertaste is undoubtedly one of the best Sour Ales the brewery ever made.
