The history

In 2015 we opened Brewery Habesha in Ethiopia. Supported by 8,000 Ethiopian shareholders, the Habesha beer brand was introduced there. Shortly after starting, the sale of the new beer brand took off. The annual production started with 300,000 hectolitres, but doubled after the first year and quickly rose to 1.5 million hectolitres. Since then Habesha has become the beer that is drunk by many proud Ethiopians.  


Here, we brew
